    The Perfect Jasmine Rice

    Bad rice ruins good curry. Don't mess this up. We've given you premium Thai Hom Mali rice. Treat it with respect.

    1. The Rinse: Put 1 cup of rice in a pot. Rinse it with cold water, swirling with your hand, until the water runs clear. Drain well. This stops it from being gloopy.
    2. The Ratio: Add 2 cups of water.
    3. The Cook: Bring to a boil uncovered. Once boiling, cover it with a lid and turn the heat down to the lowest.
    4. The Patience: Let it steam for 12-15 minutes.
    5. The Fluff: Turn off the heat. Let it sit covered for another 5 minutes. Remove lid, fluff with a fork. Perfection.
